Small But Mighty: Surprising Storage at Stoer Bay Chalets

One of the things our guests often comment on – besides the views, the peace and the charm of the place – is just how well thought-out the space is inside our chalets. While Tarka, Mijbil and Edil may be compact and cosy by design, we’ve tried to made sure there’s no shortage of storage to help make your stay as relaxed and clutter free as possible.

Each chalet has a  wardrobe in each bedroom to hang up your clothes and keep everything organised during your stay. You’ll also find handy under-bed drawers – perfect for tucking away shoes, jumpers, or all those layers and waterproofs (just in case) that come in handy when exploring the north-west coast.

Needing a bit of extra room for walking gear, beach bits or suitcases? We’ve got you covered. Our Stoer Hut (just beside the chalets) offers additional storage space for guests to use – especially helpful if you’re staying a little longer or travelling as a family or a multiple chalet booking.

Fun Fact – Do you know that the Stoer Bay Chalets sign on our Stoer hut is the very original sign for the chalets when they were built in the early 1960’s

Our kitchens also offer several cupboards free for food storage and have all you should need in kitchenware for your stay – including weighing scales & rolling pin – Hey some of us love to bake even on our holidays!

We know how important it is to be able to properly unpack and settle in – even if it’s just for a few days. Whether you travel light or like to bring half the house with you (we don’t judge!), we’ve made sure there’s a place for everything.

So, while our chalets are designed to be cosy, they’re certainly not a squeeze. Think of them more as a perfect base: practical, peaceful, and with everything you need to feel at home in the heart of Stoer.
