There’s something rather special about switching off when you come to Stoer Bay Chalets, our self catering accommodation in Stoer, near Lochinver and Clachtoll in the beautiful Scottish Highlands.
For many of our guests, that’s been part of the magic — no constant notifications, no emails, and children rediscovering the simple joy of beaches, rocks, and fresh Highland air.
But we also understand that for some visitors looking for Lochinver accommodation with WiFi or self catering in the Highlands with internet access, staying a little bit connected can make all the difference.
So, we’re delighted to share some exciting news…
🌐 WiFi Has Arrived at Stoer Bay Chalets
After a lot of exploring, problem-solving, and patience (as anyone familiar with remote accommodation in the Scottish Highlands will understand!), we’ve teamed up with NorthSat to install our own 4G WiFi system — and it’s now up and running at the chalets.
This means 
You can:
- Check in with family and friends
- Plan your next NC500 adventure
- Stream a film after a day exploring Clachtoll Beach
- Or, if you really must… keep an eye on work emails
We like to think it’s the perfect balance — a peaceful Scottish Highlands holiday with WiFi available when you need it.
And as for the children?
Well… we won’t tell them if you don’t 😉
