Well, its been a harsh winter. Very little snow but constant relentless high winds and rain. Making at times our latest project seem almost impossible. But, its (almost) finished and we are delighted to show you your new Stoer hut, which houses the freezer, washing machine and will also have shelving for you to store suitcase etc and a couple of other wee bits. For now I will show off the outside, until the inside shelving is complete. We have also added an outside shower, hopefully this will help us with no more sand blocking chalet u bends….here’s hoping

oooh and now the suns now come out and the daffy’s are blooming. Its beginning to feel a lot like spring has finally sprung. Just in time for the lambing to start. Nothing feels more like spring than lambs bouncing about the fields like they are on springs.
Delighted also to be starting the 2-22 season with a new roof and front door on Tarka. The old door always a bit of a niggle as opening outwards in an area of sometimes very high winds is not very good. practically or safety wise. Now all sorted.
So now lets hope this years summer weather is a vast improvement. We are all needing some sunshine and hope in our lives just now.
